Subject 1: Unicorns

When viewed from a holistic perspective, unicorns stand as a symbol of unabashedly flagrant homosexuality to put it lightly.  This is one of the more interesting conundrums in dealing with homosexuality as these silly steeds are an agglomeration of radically deadly parts that on paper seem anything but queer: horns and horses.  To clarify, horses are tremendously robust creatures with a penchant for blood.  If you are still not convinced, I have made a list of bad-ass things horses are involved in:  Serving as the means of conveyance for the apocalyptic bearing Four Horsemen, murdering Christopher Reeve, marketing tools for Budweiser beer, and most importantly acting as a key impetus in the speed with which Americans achieved Manifest Destiny and as a corollary the creation of the video game Oregon Trail.  What is most awe-inspiring is how they have achieved all of this all without the aid of horns.  It should follow with these examples in mind that one would shudder with fear when trying to mentally grasp the horrid reality of what life (if you would even call it living at all) would be like if horses had horns and we didn’t.  I feel it is high time that we overhaul the image of the unicorn and elevate this mythological beast to the social strata of respect it truly deserves.  Thus, I have begun my one-man crusade with this drawing.

an essay on the homosexual

In retrospect it appears as though I have artistically interbred a German Shepard with a mini-horse but either way this thing is pants-shittingly terrifying.  I need a new change of underwear and art lessons stat!
